Leopard Print – The Trend That Is Here To Stay…

I’m pretty sure by now all my fellow fashion junkies out there have a least one piece of leopard print in your wardrobes right? This is my go to print for every occasion – it just works so well. I’m so glad it’s still a trend this Autumn/Winter and I doubt it will fade away anytime soon. Leopard print is in all the shops whatever your budget, size or shape there’s something for everyone.

I mean it’s not the first time Leopard print has been popular. I think it first came on the scene as far back as the thirties among silver screen sirens with the glamours Leopard coats(I’ve got my eye on this one from Debenhams).

In the past, I wasn’t confident enough to wear this print. In my self-conscious mind, there was no way I could pull it off. However, the tables have turned now and I can’t get enough of it.

This print easily adds sass, glamour and character to most outfit choices. It just works well with my personal style and I always feel fabulous when wearing it. So don’t be afraid to try it if you haven’t already.

A Style Bird X RI Style Studio…

I had the pleasure of being invited to a private styling event by my friend Libby who is a stylist and also known as A Style Bird.

Libby teamed up with River Island and the event was held in the luxury of their exclusive in-store studio space that is based on Oxford Street. I attended the event with my fellow shopaholic friend Alisha-May.

On arrival, we were greeted with a Prosecco reception and lovely sushi nibbles so the evening was already off to a great start.

Once settled we chatted all things SS18, confidence, different body shapes(I learnt that mine is hourglass shaped) and Libby went through her top River Island picks with us – the girl has taste and knows her stuff. After the interesting chat we had the opportunity to shop for this seasons trends. We were treated to a generous 20% discount so you know I was off and my basket was full! We were like sweet-toothed kids let wild in a candy shop.

It was a fabulous night had by all. Oh, and I’d def recommend getting a group of girls and booking yourselves into the RI Style Studio for a fun personal styling experience with the lovely and knowledgeable stylists where you can discover your individual style all whilst having so much fun. You can check it out here.
